1. Create an Invisible Folder
§ Create a New Folder.
§ Rename this folder holding on the “Alt” key and type “0160” with Numpad. Now your folder is saved
without any name.
§ To change the icon right click on the folder
and select “Properties”.
A “Properties”
window will pop up. Under the “Customize” tab click on “Change Icon”.

§ Scroll the icon list and select a blank icon.
Click “Ok“. Click on “Apply” to save your setting.

§ Now the new Folder is invisible. To detect
your invisible folder refresh the window/desktop, your invisible folder will
blink.
2.Create Shutdown Shortcut on Desktop
To create a shortcut
of the “Shutdown”
option
§ Right click on desktop and select “New > Shortcut” .
§ A “Create Shortcut” window will appear. Type “shutdown -s –t 0 –f”. Click on “Next” then “Finish“.

§ Now shutdown shortcut is created on desktop.
§ Right click on the shortcut and select “Properties
>Shortcut > Change icon“.

§ Go to Start > Run and type “regedit “.

§ A “Registry Editor” window will appear. Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control
Panel\Desktop
§ In the right pane, right click on “ WaitTOKillAppTimeout” and select “Modify“.
§ Type “10000” in the “Value data” space. Click on “OK”.

4. Rename your Recycle bin folder
§ Go to Start > run and type “regedit”.
§ Navigate to and expand
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID
§ Under “CLSID” key double click on “{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}”.
§ Double click on “ LocalizedString” in the right pane of Registry Editor.
§ Type the name, you want in “Value data” field. Click on “OK”.

§ Refresh the desktop. Notice that the recycle
bin has been renamed.

5. On Screen Keyboard
§ Go to Start > Run and type “osk”.

§ Now an on screen keyboard will
appear.

6. Play Microsoft – Windows Secret Welcome Music
§ Click on My Computer and open your root drive
(generally C:).
§ Open “C:\Windows\system32\oobe\images”.
§ To play the Microsoft Windows Welcome
music click on “title.wmv”
file.

§ To set this music as the start up music in
your Windows XP computer convert this file into “.wav” format.
§ Open “Control Panel > Sound and Audio Drives“.
§ Click on “Sound” tab.
§ Under the “Program events” section select “Start Windows“. Click on “Browse“.
§ Select the file from its location.
§ Click on “Apply” then “OK“.
